Your contribution to the energy transition

As an EPC Project Manager (you will be responsible for the proper execution of utility scale PV and/or Hybrid projects on time, within budget and scope. This includes the projects’ preliminary phase, where you will coordinate all preparation activities prior to EPC contract signing and you will support throughout negotiations with clients. Your activities will involve the schedule, budget, scope, quality, risk, contracts, engineering, integration, compliance, stakeholder management throughout the execution of the projects.You can look forward to the following tasks; 
 
You:
  • Accountable for the successful execution of the EPC projects, from design phase through completion, energisation and handover.
  • Ensure that project is delivered on-time. Create detailed project plans. Track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure that project is delivered within budget. Keep overview of budgetary objectives, identify discrepancies and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis. 
  • Ensure that project is delivered within scope. Monitor compliance with specifications and requirements included in project contracts and other related project documents. 
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs. Perform risk management to minimize/mitigate project risks. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Create and maintain project documentation. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
  • Ensure resource availability/allocation and technical feasibility. Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of the project. 
  • Liaise with project stakeholders (Project Development and Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Consultants, Clients and Authorities) on regular basis to ensure compliant project execution. 
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to the Head of EPC and other company executives and to the clients.  
  • Implement & comply with JUWI processes and standards. 
  • Ensure full compliance with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes and requirements applicable to the project.

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:
  • 2 - 8 years working experience in EPC project management with overall responsibility (project cost, schedule, risk, quality and technical management and control), preferably in utility-scale Solar PV or other RES field.  
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate across levels both internally and externally. 
  • Experience of contract management and knowledge of standard contract forms (NEC, FIDIC, etc.). 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project & MS Office. 
  • Ability of working autonomously, decision making and problem solving.  
  • Team player with evident leadership qualities.
  • Fluent in Greek and English (verbal & writing).
  • Willing to travel frequently, locally and internationally, according to project’s needs. 
  • Post-graduate Studies in Management and/or Energy (MSc, MBA) is advantageous.
  • A good understanding of RES technology and legislation, National Grid Code and related processes.
  • Familiar with QHSE requirements/ standards applicable in EPC projects.
  • A formal Project Management qualification (PMP). 
  • Knowledge of further languages (German, Italian, other).
