You make use of your communication and administrative skills by liaising closely with the local corporate quality department to ensure the quality system used in the project is aligned with the quality system in place within the greater company. You enjoy forming part of a greater matrix organization, getting involved in engineer, procurement, constructino (EPC) projects across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Your contribution to the energy transition

As the EPC Project Quality Manager, acting under the supervision of the Project Managers and supporting also all stakeholders involved, you will be responsible for planning and performing the Quality Assurance (QA). Ensuring appropriate quality control within the project in compliance with the contractual obligations of the project and the internal processes applicable in the organization.
 
In close relation with the Supplier Quality Management team of the procurement department, the technology experts, the construction, and the commissioning teams, you will be responsible to ensure the quality documentation and all records of the project will be stored in a structured and appropriate manner and communicated to all the relevant parties including the final handover to the client. 
 
You can look forward to the following tasks;
 
You:
  • Create Quality Assurance Plan, Inspection and Test Plan and Quality Control Plans, all aligned with contractual requirements of each project.
  • Create and manage the quality documentation storage space for the projects.
  • Ensure all documentation (procedures, templates, check sheets) required for the management of    the quality in the project are elaborated, approved and communicated to the internal team and external stakeholders.
  • Support the different departments in preparing the project quality documentation templates.
  • Ensure that all quality records are fully reviewed, signed off by relevant parties and properly stored.
  • Facilitate creation and manage the lifecycle of nonconformance reports in the project.
  • Develop and implement audit schedules and plans including unannounced visits.
  • Elaborate and monitor Key Performance Indicators of the quality in the project.
  • Identify and communicate lessons learnt during the project lifecycle to ensure continual improvement during project execution.
  • Report regularly about the quality in the project to the Project Manager in charge.
  • Support the Project Manager on all quality matters toward the client, the owner’s engineer, and the Technical Advisor.

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Quality Management ideally in the Renewable Energy Sector
  • Conversant with ISO 9001 and related Quality Standards and concepts.
  • Able to demonstrate quality culture behaviours (rigorous, systematic, prudent approach, questioning attitude) and serve as an example for the organization.
  • Ability to take ownership of work and perform under limited supervision.
  • Familiar with Electrical and Civil international standards (IEC, IEEE & ISO). Knowledge of national standards in the areas where juwi is active (SANS, EU, etc…) would be a plus.
  • Familiar with tools and techniques generally used in Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Very good IT skills, emphasizing on MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Good administrative and reporting skills.
  • Fluent in Greek and English (both spoken and written).
  • A second European language (German or Italian) will be considered as a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
