Your contribution to the energy transition
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance works, as well as landscaping and panel cleaning tasks, in line with the contractual requirements, company policies and procedures, legal framework and best industry practice
- Provide engineering insight to the O&M department, and technical guidance to the subcontractors
- Perform Root Cause Analysis
- Generate technical procedures and method statements
- Attend on site specialized maintenance activities (scheduled or unscheduled) as well as perform regular inspections in the PV Plants
- Manage O&M subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage special O&M projects (improvement works, repowering, etc.).
- Prepare monthly and annual O&M reports towards the clients, as well as ad hoc reports when needed
- Contribute to O&M back-office tasks (updating the database, invoicing, etc.)
- Contribute to the (remote / from home) stand-by, during weekend and public holidays, of the O&M team (based on a roster)
- It is expected that the O&M Engineer will spend about 80% of his/her working time in the Juwi office (Athens), 20% on site - PV Plants
Your energy is required
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree (AEI or TEI)
- Holder (or being eligible for immediate issuing) of Certified Installer / Maintainer License for all categories and sizes of electrical installations (published by the Prefecture Office)
- At least 3 years’ experience in the engineering, construction and/or maintenance of PV plants or other RE powerplants
- Working experience with MV/LV substations, including transformers, switchgear, relays, etc.
- Working experience with communication networks
- Working experience with central inverters will be considered a plus
- Working experience with SCADA will be considered a plus
- Good knowledge of PV Systems basic design (sizing of PV strings and inverters, cable calculations, etc) will be considered a plus
- Good knowledge of HSE procedures and regulations
- Very good IT skills, emphasizing on MS Excel
- Good working knowledge on AUTOCAD
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good administrative and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of English language (both spoken and written)
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to travel and stay outside of Athens (within Greece) for about 20% of your working time
