Business Development
- Formulating O&M sales strategies and being responsible for implementing them.
- Achieving the company’s sales targets for the 3rd party O&M services.
- Participate, together with the EPC Sales Manager, in the sales process and contract negotiations of O&M contracts coming from EPC + O&M sales stream.
- Negotiate and conclude renewal of current O&M contracts.
- Managing the overall response process to relevant RFQs.
- Developing and presenting commercial proposals to clients.
- Keeping track of market intelligence in the industry with respect to market development, competitive activity, customers, price and services trends, etc.
- Establishing, growing and maintaining relationships with key clients, existing and potential ones.
- Network at relevant events.
Commercial Management of existing contracts (focused on utility scale projects)
- Acquire excellent knowledge of all contractual requirements and support the O&M team in any contractual queries.
- Take ownership of all contractual deliverables, develop and update tracking registers to monitor that all documentation (operational reports, HSE documentations, invoices, etc.) is submitted on time.
- Act as the first point of contact for the clients, regarding any contractual or commercial issues.
- Negotiate with the clients any additional work / variation orders, manage quotations & invoicing.
- Manage any claims (from the commercial perspective) of the clients.
- Manage relations with suppliers and O&M subcontractors (regarding pricing, commercial terms, warranty claims, etc.), in coordination with the O&M Team Leader.
- Budgeting & Forecasting (including monthly budget tracking).
- Support the O&M Team Leader and the O&M Team with other tasks, including O&M and/or revamping activities in the rest of the portfolio in Italy, as needed.
- Act as a replacement of the O&M Team Leader when the latter is not available.
Your energy is required
- Engineering of commercial educational background.
- At least 7 years’ experience in managing O&M or EPC contracts of PV plants or other powerplants.
- At least 5 years’ experience managing sales of O&M or EPC services for PV plants or other powerplants, having achieved a strong track-record.
- Experience in the construction, commissioning, or O&M of utility scale PV plants (> 20 MWp single plant) will be considered a plus.
- Experience in working for or with corporate clients / large IPPs will be considered a plus.
- Very good IT skills, emphasizing on MS Excel.
- Very good knowledge of English language (both spoken and written).
- Ability to remain in control and perform effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good administrative and reporting skills.
- Willing to travel domestically or internationally (about 10%).
- Valid driver’s license.
