Your contribution to the energy transition
- Ensure all maintenance and operations initiatives are carried out in conjunction with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Closely cooperate with Control Room personnel, in monitoring the plant, attending faults and providing feedback.
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on all plant’s equipment.
- Perform all scheduled (preventive) maintenance activities, inspections and checks, according to the approved plans, schedules and procedures.
- Conduct MV switching activities.
- Organize and supervise panel washing and vegetation cutting activities.
- Management of spare parts inventory on site.
- Contribute to the drafting of O&M reports (regular and ad-hoc ones).
- Supervise various subcontractors as well as a team of general workers.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and promote a culture of safety at the workplace.
- Perform stand-by during weekends and public holidays (based on a roster).
- Perform maintenance activities in other nearby PV plants, if needed.
Your energy is required
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree (AEI or ATEI) or technical training as Qualified Electrician.
- Holder (or being eligible for immediate issuing) of Certified Installer / Maintainer License for all categories and sizes of electrical installations (published by the Prefecture Office).
- At least 3 years’ experience in the construction and/or maintenance of PV plants or other powerplants.
- Working experience in MV/LV substations, including transformers, switchgear, relays, etc.
- Working experience (including switching) in HV/MV substations will be considered a plus.
- Experience in the construction, commissioning or O&M of utility scale PV plants will be considered a plus.
- Experience in working with central PV inverters will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and network / communication systems will be considered a plus.
- Very good IT skills.
- Ability to remain in control and perform effectively under pressure, along with ability to work under limited supervision.
- Team player, good communication skills.
- Good administrative and reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of English language (both spoken and written).
- Physically fit and able to work outdoor for prolonged periods of time.
- Flexible to work during weekends and public holidays, if needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
