Your contribution to the energy transition
- Manage all site activities, in line with the contractual requirements, company policies and procedures, legal framework and best industry practice
- Be responsible for the implementation of JUWI’s HSE policies and procedures
- Manage O&M site team (subcontracted)
- Liaise with Owner’s representative and Owner’s Engineer on site / during their site visits
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders, as needed
- Manage (and contribute to) the preventive and corrective maintenance, regarding time, cost and quality
- Manage the spare parts inventory and the procurement of supplies, tools and parts locally
- Manage the proper investigation and analysis of technical, HSE or other incidents on site and implement preventive measures
- Perform regular inspections in the PV plant and the MV substation
- Draft all reports (regular and ad-hoc), as per contractual and internal requirements
- Perform stand-by during weekends and public holidays (based on a roster)
- Contribute to the maintenance activities in other nearby PV plants, if needed
Your energy is required
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree / bachelor / diploma of technical institute
- At least 5 years’ experience in the construction and/or maintenance of PV plants or other powerplants
- Working experience of MV/LV substations, including transformers, switchgear, relays, etc.
- Experience in the construction, commissioning or O&M of utility scale PV plants will be considered a plus
- Experience in working with central PV inverters will be considered a plus
- Good knowledge of HSE procedures and regulations
- Very good IT skills, emphasizing on MS Excel
- Ability to remain in control and perform effectively under pressure
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent team leading and people management skills
- Good administrative and reporting skills
- Good knowledge of English language (both spoken and written)
- Physically fit and able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Willing to work during weekends and public holidays, if needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Applicant must be a resident of Loreo or be willing to relocate there
