We are looking for a Senior Project Developer to be based in Athens, Greece. Join our dynamic project development (PD) team with over 600 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic (PV) plants and 100 MW of storage systems under development. Your contribution to the energy transition

You will report to the Head of Project Development performing activities that will cover the development phase - financial close, construction phase support until the projects reach the Operation License.
 
You can look forward to the following tasks:
  • Identification and evaluation of land suitable for Renewable Energy projects.
  • Securing the land through lease agreements (in the case of private land) or other procedures in the case of public land and communication with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Management and execution of all required actions with the competent authorities for the issuance of the necessary permits for Renewable Energy projects (Certificate of Producer, Environmental Terms Approval, Grid Connection Terms, Installation License, Operation License, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a network (developers, real estate agents, environmental auditors, public authorities, RAAEY, IPTO, HEDNO) necessary for the processing of permits.
  • Regular reporting on the authorisation phases of projects.
  • Implement and comply with JUWI's procedures and standards.

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering or other relevant subject.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the development process of renewable energy, solar (RES) projects and very good knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit and ability to work independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of MS Project & Design Tools will be considered advantageous. 
  • Fluent in Greek and in English (verbal & writing).
  • Willing to travel frequently within Greece.
